3 Secrets Every Etiquette Expert Needs to Know to Start Their Business Teaching Manners to Children

how to start etiquette business

Capture a child’s attention:  In today’s world of technology and lack of human connection, you must be enthusiastic about what you are doing….teaching.  Spark a child’s curiosity.  Be prepared when you teach a class.  Tell stories that interest them.  Make it personal.

Model the behavior you are teaching.  Be fully present when you are in front of class.  Encourage engagement by asking questions.  Role-play as often as you can.  This keeps it interesting.

Put your devices away and make eye contact with them.

Manners Lesson Plans and Curriculum: Children and teens are smart and sophisticated.  You cannot teach a class and not be prepared with materials that are intelligent, appropriately illustrated and customized to meet their needs and age.

Confidence:  Walk into the room as if you know where you are going!  Have you heard that advice before?  Now is the time to use it.

Children can sense if you are not well-prepared.  When you are prepared, this feeds your confidence as a teacher.

At Manners To Go, we are here to guide you every step of the way.

Here is how you get started on your training and etiquette certification:

Step 1

Choose:  Choose your ideal training.  We have two options for you to become certified and trained to start your business.

One option is four, one hour “live” video trainings.  You schedule the sessions according to your timeframe.  Most choose to have their training once a week, some twice. These sessions are private….the two of us on a video call.

Our second option is a private, two day, immersion training.  We meet in-person.  Our focus is completely on you.  The cities to choose from are located on our website and on the link below.

Of course, either option has on-going support and training as needed during the three-year license period. There is not a charge for this support.

Step 2

Receive the download: Upon payment, you receive the downloaded curriculum. When you choose either option, the curriculum is downloaded immediately.

Step 3

Become Trained and Certified by Manners To Go: Once you have completed your certification, you are now licensed by us to teach the Manners To Go program. We mail the certificate to you and you will have the opportunity to use our logo on your website.

No other etiquette certification even comes close.

Would you like to discover what is included with each training option?  It is very easy.  Click on each image below to learn more about our training options.  There are two.
