Charm School is a very popular request from mothers. It allows you to teach manners to children in a way that is fun and allows for creativity. You have heard about mixing pureed vegetables into brownies and cookies – to hide them so your children will eat their greens. Well, Charm School can take on that role when teaching children manners.
One day, a mother called to discuss the options for a birthday party for her daughter. The mother mentioned she wanted something fun and different – an option with a bit of a “takeaway“, an educational experience in addition to the usual fun and games. She wanted to step away from the pack and offer something other than a sports activity or bouncing at the latest trampoline park.
Together, we customized a birthday party that centered around manners and social skills. Of course, the other parents were delighted to send their children to this type of party.
During your etiquette training and certification, we spend a great deal of time preparing you for this type of phone call from a parent. We spend time teaching you the mechanics of all different types of clients. We believe in customization. It is the main reason why businesses succeed today. You must meet the needs of your client.
We teach you how to grow and expand your menu of services. Manners To Go is not a one-size fits all type of program. Your success is guaranteed if you follow our plan.

As etiquette experts (and those that are aspiring to become one), we are here to show what is possible and to be examples of how we can be ladies in everyday life.
I certainly do not think we should teach that etiquette is about “rules”. Instead, etiquette and social skills are guidelines more for self-interest – in terms of how we think of ourselves from within and how we can make others feel important and comfortable in life..
These guidelines can help you navigate social situations with grace and confidence.
10 Etiquette Tips Every Lady Should Know (especially etiquette experts)
Politeness and Respect: Show kindness, consideration, and respect towards others in your interactions, regardless of their background or status.
Good Communication: Practice clear and effective communication, including active listening and thoughtful responses. Avoid interrupting others and speak in a calm and respectful tone.
Personal Hygiene: Maintain good personal hygiene and dressing appropriately for the occasion.
Table Manners: Familiarize yourself with basic table manners, such as using utensils properly, chewing with your mouth closed, and not talking with food in your mouth. Additionally, be mindful of your dining etiquette, including waiting for everyone to be served before eating and using polite phrases like “please” and “thank you.”
Punctuality: Be punctual for appointments, meetings, and social gatherings. Arriving on time shows respect for other people’s time and demonstrates reliability.
Graciousness: Cultivate an attitude of graciousness and generosity in your interactions. Offer compliments sincerely, express gratitude frequently, and be willing to lend a helping hand when needed.
Respect for Privacy: Respect other people’s privacy and personal space. Avoid prying into others’ personal affairs or sharing sensitive information without their consent.
Thank You Notes: When someone extends a kindness or generosity towards you, such as giving a gift or hosting an event in your honor, express your gratitude by sending a handwritten thank-you note.
Confidence and Poise: Project confidence and poise in your demeanor and body language. Stand tall, make eye contact, and speak with clarity and conviction.
Adaptability and Flexibility: Be adaptable and flexible in various social situations. Demonstrate the ability to navigate different environments with ease and grace, adjusting your behavior accordingly.
Remember, etiquette is not about adhering to rigid rules but rather about showing consideration, respect, and thoughtfulness towards others in your interactions.

A. This is a one area you do not want to overlook. Starting a business takes grace, grit and gumption.
Will you receive this type of training along with the curriculum you will be purchasing? Are templates of proposals included (tip: this IS included in the Manners To Go certification). Teaching children the gap and gain mindset as an etiquette expert involves helping them develop a positive and resilient attitude towards challenges, setbacks, and learning experiences.
The gap and gain mindset is about focusing on progress and growth rather than fixating on perceived failures or shortcomings.
This has been one of my favorite books so far this year. It packs a powerful punch for adults and there are so many valuable lessons for children. It is never too early to start guiding a child’s mindset.
Remember, Instilling the Gap and Gain Mindset is an Ongoing Process
Consistency, positive reinforcement, and creating a supportive environment are key factors in helping children develop a resilient and growth-oriented mindset.
